I am in Elgin, IL right now for the leadership training week at Project Impact. It has been a great week of bonding and getting to know the leaders and staff. For the past couple of days we have been looking for jobs from 8am-1pm and then doing leadership training afterwards. I will start my job at Jimmy Johns this Friday. I am excited, but things that are so familiar are very different. I will be working at a different store, not the one that I was at last year, which is sad. But, I know God has a purpose for that and I pray that I will trust Him.
Please pray that God will provide jobs for the leaders and participants. That through this process that God would be glorified and that it would be obvious that everything that we receive this summer is from Him and not of ourselves. And also that there would be unity throughout the summer between the leadership and that we would encourage and lift one another up.
I'll try to keep everyone posted about what's going on here. Have a great week and I would love to hear from everyone!

I cut and dyed my hair
I haven't gotten my hair cut for a couple months, so this appointment was bliss. Every once and a while I decide to change something: the cut, the color, or both. This time it was the color. It is pretty loud. I'm still trying to get used to it. Some of it is bright blond and then darker shades of blond. It looks really cool...but I'm still getting used to it. I usually like to blend in, but there no way that I can with this hair. It should be fun. I also got to go shopping and buy clothes (I haven't done that in such a long time!!!!!). So I had some fun with my mom. Anyway, good luck to everyone that has finals and see all of you in Norman soon!

I SURVIVED!
Yeah! Anyway, all I have is three finals next week and I just need to pack for the summer. I will be in Norman a week from this Saturday. I am so excited! I just got back from a 4 hour long leaders meeting for Refuge. It was really good and I am excited for what we are doing next semester.
It was kinda sad though, I was saying bye to a lot of people for the summer. I am going to miss some many people. Tear! Anyway, gotta go send some time with the family. This summer is going to be weird for my parents: I'm going to be in Chicago and my little brother is going to be in China. It will be the first time that both of us I have gone for a huge amount of time. Time is flying. Well, hope everyone has a great week!

I'm Stressed
My current stress level is mostly due to my procrastination. So I can't really complain. I have two papers due Tuesday. One is a seven page project, and the other is a four page analysis of a Native American Kachina. Not my favorite types of papers. Deep down inside I really don't care at all about these papers and have no passion to complete them. I really just want to be done with school. So, I guess that I better get going on those papers. I hope that everyone is doing good.
P.S. On Saturday I saw a customized Arizona License plate that read "OU IS OK". It made me smile!
